Ding & Racing to 80..

If only I could play WoW at work, then I could catch up to Seren who is now 73... (grtz baby *mumbles*) So... I have decided, I am going to drug him when he comes to see me and make sure he sleeps and level all night to beat him... (LOL) OK.. not that drastic, but dangit, I'm going to try to catch him... I guess we are in an unofficial race to 80, which will be fun.. I doubt I'll win, he's got an extra holiday day off so he'll be leveling then. (CHEATER!) Kidding...

But, it other news, Oryanna did hit 72 last night in Borean Tundra, (only 15 minutes later Seren hit 73).. We did the Last Rites quest last night, I got the super sexy Axe of Frozen Death. It's an awesome quest reward and should last me a few levels.

Oh, Distortion got their first 80 guildies yesterday, Metalhownd! It was pretty awesome to see that acheivement pop up in guildchat. Can't wait til Ory gets there.

Anyways, lovely Tuesday morning maintenence today, so no morning WoW. But thats ok, I'll try to catch Seren tonight and through the Thanksgiving holidays. (4 days off ftw!)

73 here we come..

Almost 72.. and ZzzzZzzzz

Most of the guys in Distortion are pushing 76-78ish in levels, while poor Oryanna is just now about to reach 72. I try not to feel bad, mainly because I wasn't leveling her from 70 up, like I would have with Lala, but I am trying to get up there. There is another Death Knight in the guild Vyruz, he's a sweetie, we're leveling together sometimes but at the moment he is ahead of me. Hopefully I will catch up over the holidays, 4 day weekend coming up!

Anyways, Oryanna will hit 72 tonight and then it's on to 73. Questing is fun and actually pretty easy. I can't imagine how it would be with Lala, I had hell getting her to 70, and Oryanna was easy from 55-70. I think it took her around 5 days. Oh well, *crosses fingers* maybe with the 4 day weekend I have coming up I can bust through some levels. Coffee ftw!

Oh and in other news Blizzard gave Lala her 46th pet this weekend. Apparently this weekend was the 4th Year Anniversary of WoW, so everyone who logged on, got cute lil Polar Bear pets, so I logged Lala and got hers. She is so close to having 50 pets and the cute little skunk. Now my problem is, I want Oryanna to have it LMAO.. but I think I will wait til level 80 to get that acheivement. Seems it will be easier for her to get 50 pets then. Just need to log Lala during the holidays and she'll be set for her 50th pet soon.

Also! Welcome Kurista, my friend Megan from New York has decided to get sucked into WoW and has made a Draenie hunter :) I can't wait to see how far she goes!

Anyways, here's to hitting 72 tonight, and 75+ during the holidays :)

Sometimes you just gotta *SQUEE*

Ok, so today is a day of blogging goodness! First off, WOW lookit my gorgeous new banner!! Many many many thanks to jadeleopard, who "threw" it together. (Check out her livejournal page, credits at the bottom of my blog) It looks fabulous! And after some slight issues with the coding of my blog, I finally have it looking the way I want it! YAY!

Nowwww... the Ding part.. I said it was going to happen, AND IT DID! Oryanna dinged 68 last night in Area 52 and made her way to Northrend, where she got some awesome gear AND dinged 69! I'm seeing 70 tonight! *crosses fingers*

Started her out at Borean Tundra with Seren, since he hadn't quested there yet. And I fully intend on running her to Howling Fjord while Seren is off having guy time, so Oryanna can catch up to her aggro stealing clothy. I love him.. but that lock is good at taking my aggro.. considering I WEAR PLATE!! (We have fun arguments in voice chat lol) Maybe it's because his DPS is better than mine.. oh and the fact that he is now 4 levels over me... *scratches head* hmmmmmm

Anyways, poor Lalar, still sitting in Dalaran.. Oryanna is def. pass her level this weekend.. kind of sad actually, but I will level Lala once I get Ory to 80 and get her geared. Distortion has 4 hunters, I'm sure they don't need lil Lala running around lol. Besides Oryanna is gonna kick some major tush.

Sooo yeah.. goal for tonight is 70! And then on from there!

Readers: Feel free to make comments on the blogs or say hi in my chatbox I would really love to hear from ya'll!

omg woops

I so broke my profile.. but it's like 2am and I am passing out trying to get it fixed so the mess must stay for a bit.

Sorry for the eyesore, I'll be up and running soon!

*EDIT*

FIXED!! Now to get my links back and in order! Thanks for all the visits guys! I never imagined people would read it lol!

67... getting SOOO close! Oh and HAI!

First of all, HAI (/wave) everyone that is popping onto my lil blog. I have noticed an increase in traffic and it's so awesome :) So come on in rest a spell and enjoy my trials and tales of WoW-ing. :)

Second.. and this picture, FITS! (thanks to Wow_Lady meirin, for sharing this picture on WoW_ladies a blog I follow daily)

I am 3/4 to 68, as of last night. Oryanna dinged 67 in Shadowmoon Valley, but I got distracted and mindlessly wondered over to Northrend.. really mindlessly... *nods*

Ended up exploring and killing random things pushing Oryanna to about halfway through 67. I went to bed shortly afterwards and then my sweet baby boy woke me up early so with him curled up in my lap, Oryanna pushed through some quests in Area 52/Stormspire and now she is 3/4 of the way to 68..

Seren got his DK to 60 last night, grtz baby on that! He's slowly working his Warlock to 72, which is awesome! Hopefully Oryanna can catch up!

My goal for tonight is 68, and I should hit it pretty quickly. Not sure how quickly it will be from 68-69, but I am going to try for it. Now 70.. will come this weekend.. no doubt :)

Anyways again HAI everyone and thank you so much for stopping by! Feel free to comment or say hi to me in the chatbox in the sidebar! I'd love to know what everyone thinks!

Getting closer, 66 and counting..

So last night, (rather this morning, 2AM hehe) Oryanna dinged 66 in Blades Edge Mountains. Annd then.. for some strange reason I woke up at 7AM this morning instead of 8, and thought, meh, more morning WoW time. So I grabbed a shower and hopped onto WoW, and pushed a few more quest, getting Oryanna to a little over half way to 67. I imagine a few more quests in Blades Edge and she will be set at 67.

Now the question is.. for 67-68.. should I go to Netherstorm? Or should I go to Shadowmoon Valley? Only one level to work on, and I plan on hitting 68 by tonight.. I'm currently researching Wowhead.com to see which area starter quests are maybe easier or faster.

It's crazy how fast Oryanna is leveling. I am sooo ready to hit Northrend with her :)

*SQUEE* Oryanna in Northrend, I can't wait.. I have no idea what starter area either. Lalar started at Howling Fjord before my computer starting giving me fits, so I may start at Borean Tundra so I can see it :)

This weekend Ory will be at Northrend, no doubt, if not tonight ;) I will cut my video settings down to nothing to keep her leveling!

So YAY!!!

Oh and I have already thought of another new name for my blog...
"You Recieve Loot:[WoWChic]"

Too cute right?

Maybe lol

~Muh DK Guide by Elitist Jerks~

The Unholy Talent Suggestion

8.3. Unholy

Unholy is the most magic-damage heavy of all the specs. As such, it is particularly adept at killing targets with high armor and mitigation. In addition, it offers the most powerful area of effect damage of any of the specs.

8.3.1. Benefits brought by an Unholy spec

Unholy’s raid buff comes in the form of Ebon Plague. With the effects of Crypt Fever built-in, it not only provides all other Death Knights with 30% more disease damage, but also provides 13% more magic damage done to all targets diseased by you. While Warlocks and Moonkin can also provide this buff, it is most easily applied (especially to multiple targets) by a Death Knight. This spec is also capable of temporarily resurrecting raid members as ghouls, providing extra damage when no battle res is available.
Unholy's token aura is Unholy Aura, which will make the run speed portion of Unholy Presence a raidwide aura (do note this is NOT linked to whether or not the Death Knight is in Unholy Presence). Some argue that it's not worth picking up, more on that below in the Talent Choices section.

Please note that you should only have one Unholy DK in the raid at a given time. Ebon Plague does not stack, and will only count as a third disease for strike damage to the DK that applied it.

8.3.2. Talent Choices

17/0/54: You may see points in this tree distributed differently, but this is my personal preference. Note that the talents you are likely to see varying amounts of points are Necrosis, Impurity, and Unholy Aura. There are a lot of misconceptions floating around about these talents, but thankfully the DPS breakdown below helped clear up many of them. Many people also argue that Unholy Aura does not directly contribute to DPS, and hence is not worthwhile. However, here is a fairly convincing post that illustrates otherwise:

Originally Posted by Zurm View Post
Let's do some napkin math, shall we? In a 25-man, let's assume we have 7 melee DPS. Now lets assume we are on a fight like KT, with approximately 10% running time with no run speed enchant, and let's also assume a personal sunstained DPS of all melee to be 4k. These are all fair numbers from what we have seen on beta, shifted slightly to make the math easier to follow. Now, without any runspeed enchant, we could expect each individual member to do:

4000 * (1-.1) = 3600 DPS, and combined: 3600 * 7 = 25200

Now, if we increase running speed by 15%, we increase the (1-.1) = .9 multiplier to 1-.087 = .913. Re-doing this:

4000 * .913 = 3652 DPS, and combined: 3652 * 7 = 25564

Or a net raid DPS increase on this fight of 364. This is also just purely the DPS benefit from a running fight. This doesn't factor in the ability to hit your WHOLE raid with a 15% boost on fights like Heigan to make it easier (while it's not needed to have this speed boost on heigen, it certainly helps, especially with the achievement where no one can die t his bursts). Also, you will most likely be near to the tanks at all times, and allowing the tanks to grab targets more easily is extremely helpful.
8.3.3. Rotation

PS = Plague Strike
IT = Icy Touch
BS = Blood Strike
SS = Scourge Strike
DC = Death Coil
UB = Unholy Blight

Note that in the “DC” section, you should continue to cast DC until you no longer can. Rotations are shown over two cool-downs per rune, with full rotations lasting approximately 20 seconds.

17/0/54:

PS -> IT -> BS -> BS -> SS -> UB
SS -> SS -> SS -> DC

8.3.4. Glyphs

8.3.4.1. Major Glyphs:

* Glyph of Plague Strike: This is actually quite good for unholy if you make sure your rotation is tight enough that the target always has one disease on them.
* Glyph of Bone Shield: Since bone shield offers a 2% increase to damage, this glyph ensures it stays up longer, hence increasing your damage. Also great on fights with lots of AoE damage.
* Glyph of Scourge Strike: This glyph isn't necessarily bad, but most DKs from beta strongly caution the use. In a typical 4x SS rotation, diseases should ALWAYS be up, and this glyph brings absolutely nothing in terms of benefit in a raiding situation unless it's a boss fight with a lot of target switching or moving and it just happens to proc before you start running. Keep in mind that even with a 25% proc rate, there is a 32% chance in any given 4x SS rotation that you will get ZERO procs. Due to how unreliable and situational this glyph is, most Unholy DKs advise against its use in a raiding situation.
* Glyph of Blood Strike: I put this glyph here because there is a common misconception about how it functions. Many assume that bosses hit with desecration will take more damage with this glyph. THIS IS WRONG. It is nothing like the warrior daze mechanic in raids, and is strictly a PVP glyph. Do not use.
* For your last major Glyph slot, there are a few choices. There is nothing simply amazing, but a few that you can chose from that provide some benefit. If you are dead-set on maximizing your DPS, then Glyph of the Ghoul is your best bet. If you want to throw in some surviveability or PVP focus since you wont get too much out of the previous glyph, Glyph of Icebound Fortitude and Glyph of Strangulate provide some nice utility.

8.3.4.2 Minor Glyphs:

* Glyph of Pestilence: An invaluable minor glyph for all PVE DKs. This allows you to more easily AoE and spread diseases with pestilence, saving you from having to re-apply diseases where you might have previously had to. This, in turn, allows you to get more powerful strikes in the during the short lifespan of trash mobs and multi-mob boss encounters. IMO, absolutely required for every raiding DK.
* Glyph of Horn of Winter: Not an amazing glyph in all raiding situations, but it has its place in 5 mans and certain raiding encounters. If you aren't able to be near an enhancement shaman, this makes the fairly steep cost of HoW cheaper, and more bearable in a raiding situation.
* As for remaining minor glyph slots, you can chose whatever you find most helpful. At the moment, the only remotely helpful minor glyphs for unholy that haven't been mentioned are Glyph of Blood Tap and Glyph of Raise Dead.

8.3.5. DPS Breakdown Per Talent Point

# Skill Rotation(20) 4x SS % per point
1 SS 19.82% exempt
2 Epidemic 8.23% 4.12%
3 EbonPlaguebringer 9.27% 3.09%
4 Bone Shield 1.96% 1.96%
5 Wandering Plague 5.83% 1.94%
6 Crypt Fever 4.90% 1.63%
7 BcB 4.77% 1.59%
8 Rage of Rivendare 6.85% 1.37%
9 Vicious Strikes 2.56% 1.28%
10 impurity 5.34% 1.07%
11 Shadow of Death 0.75% 0.75%
12 Morbidity 2.07% 0.69%
13 Necrosis 3.16% 0.63%
14 Desecration 2.77% 0.55%
15 Virulence 1.14% 0.38%
16 Ravenous Dead 1.12% 0.37%
17 Outbreak 0.46% 0.15%
Thanks to Methods for this data.

~64 & New Blog Title~

So, Oryanna hit 64 last night. Not a big feat mind you, so many quests I can do. I actually finished up most of Zangermarsh so I moved onto Terrokar Forest. A few quests into that zone and DING! Now I am a little under 1/2 way to 65, so I am setting a goal of 66 tonight. Should be able to hit Nagrand tonight actually.

After 66, only 2 more levels until Northrend.. and hopefully my RAM will be in so I can install and get there right away.

It's so awesome playing a Death Knight, Oryanna can take on mobs 2-3 levels higher than her and solo the group quests. Last night she took on the Elite Bird in Terrokar and killed him with a little under half health points. So yeah, the evil Oryanna is a very powerful Ory. hehe

Well, we've just about picked a name for the blog, (we being myself and Seren even though he won't pick anything at all) "Musings of a WoW Woman" because it will be basic.. covering all aspects not just one character.

I am so ready to hit 68 on Ory.. I will be so glad to finally quest in Northrend, and sadly I see her passing Lala quickly. But that's ok..

After Ory hits 80 or when I get a little weary of leveling, I am going to work on her mining and jewelcrafting, so she can start getting her professions done. Being able to make Gems for myself will be a great thing :) And I can make some decent coin too!

Anyways.. so 66 tonight.. we'll see *crosses fingers*

Call Me Lala/Ory?

I've noticed I actually have some readers and that makes me sooo happy, so I am asking ya'll to help me out.

I want to rename my blog.. but my creative aura isn't working :)

So I need suggestions, so my faithful readers, if you could put your suggestion in the brand new chatbox in the sidebar, I would be VERRRY thankful!

Thanks ya'll!

Oryanna VS Lalar

Might need to change the name of my blog.. Call me Ory...

Since my computer is having a hard time with Northrend (my memory is a bit low) I am working on my smexie Death Knight, Oryanna.

I am getting a RAM upgrade this week (my moms early birthday gift to me) but I am having so much fun with Oryanna...

I mean seriously, Lalar was fun to learn WoW with.. attacks mobs safely behind my pet going slowly through each level, learning the lore...

But Oryanna.. I am face to face with the mobs.. speeding through quests and zones. Heck I was just 58 Friday and now I am 62.. thats 4 levels in 2 days. Woah....

I don't care if they say DK's are overpowered... I am having fun!

So, Lalar is on the back burner.. because well.. oh well lmao. I have paid my dues with her.

My RAM upgrades should be in by Friday.. which means.. I have 5 days to get Ory to level 68, which will give her the level requirements to go to Northrend. And then it's lvl 80 here I come...

I think after I level Ory, Lalar will come after just so I have 2 80's and you never know when someone may need a hunter. (ok n/m that.. no one needs Lalar anymore)

So my goals.. get Ory to level 64 tonight, so I can hit Nagrand and the Nessenwary quests.. then onward to 68 by Friday. Seren thinks I can do it, so I sure am going to try.

I may be staying up late to achieve this, but I will have fun doing it!

Oryanna, Level 70.. soon! :)

~'~,<@ Oryanna (oh and Lalar too)

Friday, November 14, 2008

Oryanna is evil!

But I love it! Seren and I finished the Death Knight opening quests and WOW! The quest line is amazing, it runs you through a whole time line of Death Knight goodness.. all the way to the Death Knights going against the Lich King. Yeah, watching that whole thing I was in total silence like "omgah.....wow...."

Oryanna is now lvl 58 or 59 soon to be 60 (this weekend for sure) and she is now a Guildmaster! Well... after I get signatures lol. Imajika will be our Vanity/fun guild. Why'd I make it? Well.. cause I can! Lalar is going to stay in Distortion, but Teleri and any other alts will go to Imajika.

She is also working on her mining/jewelcrafting, which I plan to work on as I level *crosses fingers*

But otherwise, Ory is an awesome Death Knight, all hawtness decked out in her specific Blue and Black armor riding around on her awesome Death Charger... oh yeah, she's a hawt peice of Alliance Ass LMAO! (ps I love that icon, kind of portrays Ory's bad girl side)

I can't wait to get home tonight and... clean! No playing WoW tonight. Seren is coming to see me and I am going to spend some quality time with him..

~<@ Lalar and a new one for Ori ~,~'<@Oryanna (gotta have thorns ;) )

~<@ Lalar ^..^

Oh Hai Northrend! *shiver*

So, I ventured into Northrend last night! After say about, 1 and 1/2 hours of installation and patching... Oh and being the only woman at our midnight release party.. Store FULL of men.. lil ol' me, in my boots and jeans waiting patiently. (I did get a free poster and a wink from the guy at the register hehe)

Oh, and I created my new Death Knight, meet Oryanna. A hawt Draenei. She came equipped with a full set of armor +rings, but no weapon. You have to forge your own weapon, it's so awesome! She is going to be Unholy spec'd because from what I can tell, it seems to be the best for leveling. (I can haz research!)

Oh and Lalar rode the boat to Howling Fjord, and started questing. Pretty place actually :). Sooo many new mobs and yeah I had some lag but an upgrade to my RAM should fix that soon. We decided to hit the first instance, Utgarde Keep and did pretty decently until my computer attempted to do Updates.. and crashed me out of WoW.. the group replaced me and went on but apparently not very far.

All in all, it was fun, and I can't wait to log in tonight and see what Northrend has in store for me!

I gave in... I broke.. I'm weak... /gasp /faint

I'm making a DeathKnight with Seren.. *gasp* I know right!? After all that fussing I did, and now.. I broke down... I'm weak really...

And I have picked my Race too... *drumroll* Draenei. Seriously I think she would make a lovely DeathKnight, hooves and all. Plus the jewelcrafting bonus, I think she'll work nicely. Now as for names... I am so stuck, I usually turn to my trusty Elvin Name generator, but since she won't be an elf, hmmm... so I turned to Mythological Names or Medieval names and I have come up with a few...

~>Liliana
~>Oriana
~>Lysianna
~>Apollyon (Refers to Abaddon, the angel of death from the Bible - Greek)
~>Naissa (Derived from 're(Naissa)nce' meaning resurrection)

Leaning more towards Naissa, and if it's taken, Nayssa, or Nyssa.

So.. I shall make my DK Draenei and if Seren wants to, explore the area, and then log Lalar and run her around Northrend.

Getting closer *squee* 10 hours til midnight!

PS: Men.. seriously... if your girlfriend chases down copies of WoWTLK over the phone for you.. because they know you didn't call and check on it yourself.. make sure you thank them.. ;) Over and over and over and over :P (<3 Ya babe hehehehe)

Servers down... servers down... *sigh*

So, I got home yesterday wanting to play some WoW before the Xpac hits.. and the servers were down...

Ok no biggie, Tuesday is always maintenance day, and because of Lich King, it was taking a bit long.... cue twiddling fingers... I kept myself busy...

7pm: try to check the servers... nada.. still down..

Visit multiple websites, watch multiple youtube videos, start getting kiddo down for bed...

8pm: Still no WoW... headache is coming..

Check WoW forums, read people QQ and threaten to call BBB, /sigh and go to watch TV...

9pm: By some miracle the US servers are coming up, by now Seren is online, we sit in yahoo messenger betting when TFC will come back up..

TFC IS UP WOOOT!!

Get my frogs after confusion over where the Darkmoon Faire is (outside Shatt) and guild decided to run Kara... fun.. w/e...

Run Kara, down bosses, cheer happily.. get misdirected to..(stupid ass joke) kill the Prince, go to bed..

Morning... hey guess what, WoW is down again!

*sigh*

I will stop QQing... I know it's because of all the FREE EPICS WoW gave away last night (apperently badge and arena vendors were messed up last night) and the fact that they are releasing a huge expansion pack tonight.

So.. yeah I'm ready, maybe WoW will be on for a few minutes tonight so I can do something sneaky on my druid... and then at 11:45 I am going to GameStop.. getting my game and going home with a Pot of Coffee and loading it.. plan on being up all night, and oddly the idea sounds fun..

Anyways more later..

Lala.... isn't hardcore

Yeah I just came to this realization.. Lala isn't hardcore.. Lala is all about fun.. why did I come to this conclusion?

While talking to Seren about my big goal, which is getting the 50 Vanity Pets Achievement, Shop Smart, Shop Pet...Smart for my baby skunkie. And I thought, why am I making such a big deal out of Vanity pets when other people are worrying about gear and dps and downing bosses...

Because it's fun.

And now with Lich King coming (IN ONE DAY *SQUEE*) I can start having fun again. And I plan on it! Questing and Exploring, maybe the occasional guild raid run. Otherwise, I want to have fun, as I always have, hence the reason I wasn't very geared when I hit 70, I was too busy having fun to care.

I am going to get my skunk soon, tonight I will have +3 more pets, all three frogs from the Darkmoon Faire. After that, Christmas pets or Northrend pets should set me over 50, and I will have my baby skunkie :)

And then I'll pick something else fun to work on, like leveling to 80.

Seren isn't a hardcore raider, but he has raided and enjoys it, as do I. Not saying I plan on stopping, but I am now glad that there will be more to do.

So, tomorrow is the midnight release party at my local Gamestop.. I will start a pot of coffee, go get it, and come back and load it while me and Seren stare bleary eyed at the screen waiting for the loading screen to go away.

I can't wait.

Northrend.. here I come..

*squee* Titles!

I can haZ? Poor Seren, all he hears about is me wanting a title.. LALAR MUST HAVE A TITLE! Why? Well.. cause Seren has one and I want one too! *pouts* His is better though, "Hand of Adal" *sigh*

Anyways, I am posting this as my own or anyone else's guide to titles :P

Titles Obtainable After Echoes of Doom, but Before Wrath

* “________ of the Shattered Sun.” Yep, the 1000g gold sink title will remain in the game, from all reports, and while right now it might be a waste, reportedly questing from 70 to 80 will earn you nearly 10,000 gold. At that point, shelling out a grand for a title might not seem like the huge waste of cash that it is now.
o How to get it: Complete A Magnanimous Benefactor upon reaching Exalted with the Shattered Sun Offensive.
* “Justicar ________” (Alliance)Got a lot of time and patience on your hands? Willing to listen to noobs QQ’ing about how you lost Arathi Basin because no one made mage tables? Then sir or madam, Justicar might be for you.
o How to get it: Reach exalted with your side’s three battleground factions. For you allies, that’s Silverwing Sentinels, Stormpike Guard, and The League of Arathor. Yes, this is a huge pain in the ass for every faction except the ones in AV. But hey, you’ll get a lot of honor, a lot of marks, and a new tabard.
* “Ambassador ________.” Beloved of the cities, welcome in every nation in Azeroth (at least those friendly to your faction), the Ambassador is not an easy title to obtain - or rather, it’s easy, it’s just very time-consuming. This title also has the cool background of being one that was added specifically because of player requests! (Shameless plug: this is the one I’m most busily working towards.)
o How to get it: Complete Ambassador of the Alliance. For the Alliance, you’ll be turning in a lot of runecloth to Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, Gnomeregan Exiles, and The Exodar. You’ll likely end up doing lots of the repeatable Runecloth turn-in, but you can also obtain valuable reputation by doing quests in the starting area for each race, as well as by doing the repeatable turn-ins in Alterac Valley. So if you’re working on Justicar heck, you may as well work on Ambassador too! This will also open up every city’s mounts for you - a huge help towards Leading the Cavalry - as well as completing Exalted rep achievements at least up to 5 Exalted Reputations.
* “Bloodsail Admiral _______.” Yarrrrr!
o How to get it: Complete Avast Ye, Admiral!, the capstone of the Bloodsail Buccaneers questline. I’m also pretty sure that if you got the hat, you will be retroactively awarded this achievement and the title to go with it. Now start making nice with the goblins again, Admiral!
* “_______, Guardian of Cenarius.” Are you a treehugging hippie? Have I got the title for you!
o How to get it: Complete Guardian of Cenarius, which simply requires exalted with Cenarion Circle and Cenarion Expedition. Easy peasy.
* “_______ of the Alliance.” Hey, do you like killing people? I mean really, really, really like killing people? Specifically people from the opposing faction? Honorably? Not ganking? Here’s your title… eventually.
o How to get it: Get 100,000 honorable kills.
* “_______ the Diplomat.” Grinding exalted with five factions that you’re probably already at honored or revered with not enough of a challenge for you? How about grinding exalted with three factions that initially hate you?
o How to get it: Complete The Diplomat (Horde) or The Diplomat (Alliance), requiring you to get exalted reputation with Timbermaw Hold, Sporeggar, and either the Mag’har or Kurenai. Hey, if nothing else, this is another step towards finishing Leading the Cavalry.
* “_______ the Hallowed.” Hallowed be thy name! It’s another world event achievement and title.
o How to get it: Complete Hallowed By Thy Name, which is a meta-achievement; like usual, some of it you can already have completed, and the rest you can complete in a couple weeks when Hallow’s End rolls around! UPDATE: Word has it that in 3.0.3, the ridiculously difficult A Mask for All Occasions is being removed from this title’s requirements. Now you only have to worry about getting your Sinister Squashling and Hallowed Helm from the Horseman.
* “_______ Jenkins.” That’s right - another Leeroy Jenkins tribute. You, however, will have to be slightly successful than the eponymous Mr. Jenkins… or at least a bit deadlier.
o How to get it: Complete Leeeeeeeeeeeeeroy!, which requires you to kill 50 Rookery Whelps in 15 seconds. Reward? The surname Jenkins!

Titles Obtainable Only After Wrath, But Which You Can Start Working On Now

* “Battlemaster _______.” One of WoW’s meta-achievements, Battlemaster is actually notable for being a meta-meta-achievement - it’s an achievement that requires you to complete other achievements, which in turn require you to complete other achievements. Sheesh.
o How to get it: Battlemaster. Note that those require you to complete the Master of achievements, such as Master of Warsong Gulch. You can technically complete 4/5 of this achievement during 3.0.2, but unless they go ahead and release Strand of the Ancients (which I doubt), you’ll have to wait until November to start on Master of Strand of the Ancients.
* “Brewmaster ________.” I hesitated on adding this one, as if you didn’t start on it during Brewfest this year, you do have to wait until next Brewfest. But what the heck, you may have a step or two you can take regardless.
o How to get it: Complete Brewmaster (Alliance version). It’s another meta-achievement. Some of these you can complete now if you did the appropriate quests or items, such as Have Keg, Will Travel and Does Your Wolpertinger Linger?. Others will have to wait, such as Disturbing the Peace, and Brew of the Year (however, if you signed up for the Brew of the Month club, you’re set - just have to wait on them all to get to you). There’s also a possibility you’ll be reward retroactively for quests you completed, such as Down With The Dark Iron.
* “Chef _______.” You won’t be able to make a ton of progress on this one, but you can at least get a start, right?
o How to get it: Complete Hail to the Chef. The parts you can do prior to Wrath are The Outland Gourmet, Sous Chef, and Kickin’ It Up a Notch. Oh, and The Cake Is Not A Lie, I think. If they decide to put Grand Master trainers in the home city, those of you at 350 or higher can also complete Grand Master Cook.
* “Elder _______.” Yes, after you honor all the Elders, you become one. Trust me, it took you that long.
o How to get it: Complete To Honor One’s Elders. The odds that large parts of this will be rewarded retroactively are very good, in my opinion, but I doubt you’ll have completed the fireworks parts - and possibly not the parts requiring you to honor elders in the opposing capitals. Unfortunately, even if you’ve done the rest of it, you’ll have to wait for the Lunar Festival to honor the Elders of Northrend.
* “_______ the Explorer.” Hope your name’s not Dora. This achievement and title show the world that you really get around. Wait, that’s not right…
o How to get it: Become a World Explorer! That’s a lot of walking. You can get a head start by exploring the Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Outland; however, you’ll need to wait to completely explore Northrend. Completing the final step grants you a nifty new tabard (well, technically, you only need to explore Northrend for that part) as well as your title.
* “Flame Keeper _______” or “Flame Warden _______.” Hot stuff! If you liked the Midsummer Fire Festival’s revamp, this is the achievement for you… plus it’s just a damned cool title.
o How to get it: Complete The Flame Warden (Alliance). The main reason this is one you can’t finish yet is because of Burning Hot Pole Dance and Torch Juggler, but it’s highly likely that you’ve honored the flames, desecrated and stole those of your enemies, and put the Ice Lord on ice.
* “Matron _______” (female) or “Patron _______” (male).” This is one you won’t be able to get much of anything done, but if you did Children’s Week, then you’ve got 1 step (out of 7) done.
o How to get it: Complete For the Children. Unfortunately, most of them are untrackable, so you’ll have to wait till next year, but if you finished all the quests, then you’ve got at least one pet for Aw, Isn’t It Cute?.
* “Salty _______.” Possibly going to be the most abused title ever. Please, people, be responsible with your fishing nonsense.
o How to get it: All ye salty sea dogs must first be named an Accomplished Angler. That’s right - yet another meta-achievement. Some of these will have to wait till Northrend (such as Northrend Angler and The Coin Master), but you can get a head start on several of them now - such as acquiring the skill to become a Grand Master Fisherman, or the amusingly named Old Man Barlowned and Fish Don’t Leave Footprints.
* “_______, The Argent Champion.”
o How to get it: Complete The Argent Champion, which requires you to reach exalted with The Argent Dawn (which you can do now) and The Argent Crusade (which you can do in Northrend).
* “_______ the Exalted.” Only the truly patient (or insane) need apply.
o How to get it: Get 40 reputations to exalted. 40. 40. Have fun! There’s about 39 you can get exalted with right now (as in Live, or 3.0.2).
* “_______ the Loremaster.” I’ll say it up front: Loremaster has the best tabard to go with it, ever. It’s a quest-giver’s “!” on the front, and a bunch of tiny writing on the back. You’re a walking quest! And for good reason, too…
o How to get it: Complete The Loremaster, which in turn requires you to complete a certain number of quests in each region 700 in the Eastern Kingdoms, 730 in Kalimdor, and the Outland and Northrend Loremaster achievements. You’ll have to be a real questing fanatic for this one.
* “_______ the Love Fool.” Love me, love me, saaaay that you love me…
o How to get it: Complete Fool for Love, most of which will have to wait until the actual event rolls around again. However, you may have managed to get Kwee Q. Peddlefeet, or completed the Love is in the Air questline.
* “_______ the Seeker.” Think of it as a step towards getting the Loremaster… and, in fact, you might already be a good chunk of the way towards getting this title!
o How to get it: Complete 3000 quests. Currently there are (according to Wowhead) 6177 in-game, 4019 of which can be completed by the Alliance, 3983 by the Horde… though the actual number is much lower due to a lot of repeatable hand-ins - which reportedly don’t count. So, you’ll probably be waiting for Wrath on this one too…

Now.. which title do I want... I am really close to Ambassador Lalar (hehe demands respect right?) I just need Exodar and Gnomergian Exiles rep... and those two are kicking my rear lol.. Anyways we'll see :)

~<@ Lalar

PS: Ohhh Lalar the Love Fool, OR, Flame Keeper Lalar... LMAO
So, yay the druids are level 37. Granted Seren and I were not on this weekend, I think we did awesome with the time that we did have.

2 days til Lich King (NOT LICK SEREN quit snickering).. and I honestly can't wait. Seren is in a state of shock because he has been waiting for long for it.

I blog a LOT about Lalar and the Druids and I just thought I would blog about someone I run around with a lot.. someone who means the WoW and RL world to me (<3) that would be my partner in crime, Sereniara. (omg I spelled it right)

So yeah, he is basically awesome... he's an Affliction lock struggling with the lovely nerfs Blizzard threw at him. Yet he is still one of the best DPSers I have seen and one of the more knowledgeable players in WoW. And, he is the one who got me into WoW, and that makes him so much better. So yeah, he's wonderful.. my constant WoW buddy, the one who gets to explain when I go "wha?", /facepalm when I pull aggro for the 5th time in 4 minutes, and /cheer when I level (on our druids) or finally understand something that has been eluding me forever. So a hunter/lock combo isn't the best idea of a group, but I tell you what, we're going to tear Lich King up. We both absolutely cannot wait and we are going to jump in head first into the new content. (Well after I find out where the vanity pets are, so close to 50 *squeals*)

Anyways so yeah, I was fussing to him that I didn't have anything to blog about, and he suggested the Druids Leveling, and then I thought I would give kudos to my partner in crime. ;) Thnx Hun, WoW's better with you... <3

5 days

5 days til Lich King, I can't wait...

I have decided this far, to not worry about armor, dps, or anything else until then. Which means I am going to work on my druid or work on some random acheivement on Lalar.

I actually turned my dmg meter off so now I could care less..

Too much stress trying to fix something out of my hands without better gear, and I'm not breaking my neck for stuff that will be replaced with Northrend Greens and Blues...

For instance:

Group quest in Howling Fjord gives: First Mate's Pocketwatch Already better than my two trinkets..

A green quest reward: Azure Chain Hauberk Not better than what I have mind you, but close...

Most of the quest items are awesome for Crit Rating and Haste, I don't see a ton pushing +attack power or +resil, which is kind of a shock for me. Only item I see really useful is the First Mate's Pocketwatch, which means I will be looking for a group to get that quest done, ASAP.

I am getting giddy at all the quests and the ability to level again! I can't wait!

Lich King HURRY UP!

Wishlists: Pre-LK & LK Edition

Just throwing some awesome armor/weapons out there. 9 days til Lich King (I always type it Lick King *sigh*) and I am curious as to what Northrend has to offer, along with some drops from Zul'Aman which Distortion is planning to run soon.

For instance:
From ZA, I would roll on:
Ancient Amani Longbow
Arrow-Fall Chestguard
Berserker's Call (although someone else can use it better...
Cloak of Fiends
Coif of the Jungle Stalker
Pauldrons of Primal Fury
Showdowhunter's Tread
Signet of Primal Wrath
Trollbane

~Now those are all from Zul'Aman, the next ones are just the randoms from Northrend, be it quest items, drops, etc.

Axe of Frozen Death Quest Reward..
Chain of the Tolling Bell(not likely going to replace my current peice..)
Tundra Tracker's Shouldguards Quest reward...
And so on and so forth..

So, basically, quest rewards from Northrend will be better lol.

/sob & /cheer

I'm sure this title has to be confusing, so let me break it down and then explain in details.

1) Distortion ran Kara the other night... and the bow dropped.. yes "THE" BOW!...
Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix but due to me being already awesome and another hunter being subpar (yeah that makes me FEEL A LOT BETTER *sarcasm*) I didn't get my treasure... /sob

2) Druids.. yeah we hit 30! Travel form FTW! /cheer

3) Oh and I'll throw /love & /kiss in there, but I won't go into detail about it.. but he knows what I mean ;)

Now about my bow... *sighs* well.. not my bow actually.. and I am really happy for the guy who got it, he is a good hunter and has helped me a lot, and made fun of me, but that's a different story. We ran Kara to get the World PVP Boss done so everyone could get their Vampire Batlings (yay 43 pets ftw!) and as we were making our way to Prince I turned to Seren and said "The bow is going to drop I know it.."

How did I know it... because there were THREE hunters in the raid group... 3... usually it's just me... but not this time.. We get up there and down the Prince, and I hear gasps and "oh my gods" in vent.. why... yeah... it dropped....

I knew the lower hunters needed it. I already have a decent bow.. Steelhawk Crossbow, but I have always ALWAYS wanted the Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix . Oh well, I'm not mad, I understand raid progression, I was doing some awesome DPS during Kara (I repec'd more on that in a sec) and I didn't need an improvement. He did. That's cool, it basically means I'm awesome.. hehe... better way to think about it.

Now when we make it to BT and Thori'dal drops.. IT'S MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(yeah right I'll never see it, besides Northrend greens/blues will soon replace everything)

Oh yeah, Lalar is now *gasp* Marksmen... I have been dying to try it, so I did.. I went out and tamed a Gorilla to tank for me and spent the 20 gold to respec and boom, I am now a DPS machine and apperently a good one at that. Distortion has agreed that I should def. stay MM, so I will.

Now about the Druids. Seren and I spent a lot of time on them this weekend (when we weren't busy otherwise hehe) And boom, they hit 30! After 4 days, and they are level 30.. I mean WOW!! Refer a friend rawks, 300% EXP Gain.. yeah we're happy. Travel form is so awesome. Can't wait til tonight, not sure what to set our goal as, but I seriously cannot wait.

And we have decided, once we get these leveled.. we are doing another RAF account, this time with me hosting it (and getting the awesome mount lol) and we are going to run *gasp* Hordies...

I have been wanting to learn the Horde lore and see what it's like on the otherside, so we are going to do it. We are going to make undeads/forsakens. I already made mine, being the impatient person I am, her name... is Mylee.. lol sounds scary huh.. well whats even worse, she is an Undead priest.. LMAO talk about an oxymoron.

Oh well.. back to work.. :)
