My kiddo, I will simply call him Landon-stein.. he's got a cute shirt with Frankenstein on it and I used facepaint to put stitches on his face, so he is a mini Frankenstein.

Fail Furnace and more Druidness

So, we've decided, Teleri will be a Restro Druid, at least leveling-wise. Seren's druid will be the dps/tank. We're both ready to get home and level, and we have a goal of level 25 by tonight.

We're heading to Westfall as soon as we get the Dispelling Poison quest that is left in Darkshore out of the way. Then its time for Defias, Murlocs, Gnolls, and Deadmines! 2 Druids on a leveling warpath in Westfall? Everyone run!

We're also hoping the "trial" on my account goes away, we set it up last night and within an hour we got sick of not being able to trade so I upgraded to the full, and it still hasn't changed... Hopefully it will tonight, so tired of running around with one bag (wait 2, a 6 slot dropped last night) and no gold LOL.

Geez it's 3:30... 1 hour and 30 minutes til I can go home. Clock always runs sooo slow when I want to do something when I get home.

Go figure...

Still no Kara run for Distortion, although I did tell my guildmaster last night that the "special" boss disappears after November 3rd, so maybe that means we'll get some folks together soon. *crosses fingers*

Now, I was lurking around the WoW forums, which I actually do a lot, but I happened to pop into my old realms (Blood Furnace aka FAIL Furnace) forums and it's crazy the drama... Alliance are trying to band together against the horde, well, at least some of them. The rest of them don't care or are transferring soon. Seren and I are in agreement that they really just need to offer free transfers and just kill that server. It's crazy all the drama and I am sooo glad I left. I miss my old NTFers, but I love my friends in Distortion and of course, my Seren. ;) <3

Oh well... best of luck to them I guess..

Will go with the edit first... unfortunetly, Telari, yeah it was taken.. *sigh*

So, my druid is Teleri. And, she's level 12 after maybe three hours of leveling. Makes me smile when I see +3300 EXP Gained, pop up into my combat log.

Seren and I can't wait to log into our Druids and work on them now, which will make for an interesting weekend considering he is coming to spend time with me LOL...

Speaking of Seren, he recently got me addicted to another WoW Comic, "Looking for Group", (link is in my links tab on the side) and I just had the chance to watch the video and omg, I am still laughing!

Telari & RAF

Ok it's been decided.. I miss Talalar my druid still on Blood Furnace... so Seren and I are going to RAF an account..

Deb has been doing it with her husband, started a character this past Sunday, yeah she's already Level 25...

So we decided, Seren is going to refer me, I'll create a new account, Enter Telari, Telari will then level and become an awesome druid and then when the 2 months requirement is met, she will be transfered to Lalar's account and boom!

Seren will get a cool mount and will have 29 bonus levels to grant to any of his alts once Telari hits 60. And Telari and (whatever Seren's Druid is named) will level fast with the 300% exp bonus!

So yeah, we're starting it tonight, and then we'll get the full game version sometime soon so we can trade back and forth and then YAY! A druid!

A druid would be beneficial to the guild and I can respec Resto or Feral at anytime.

So tonight it will be welcome Telari to TFC!

Didn't get much WoW time yesterday, I had company ;) and I would much rather /cuddle then /play WoW hehe..

I did log on for a bit last night, long enough to help some guildies with the Scourge quests.

My plans for this week? Hopefully get Kara ran and cleaned out, I need the Batling, I need to down Shade of Aran for the Journal for more rep so I can have my fantastic arrows, and erm my bow to drop from the prince... *crosses fingers again*

I also need to get a run together through Black Morass, another instance I have yet to go through, that Deb and I need to forge our Kara keys together. Another achievement ftw!

Anyways, that's about it, just sitting back and getting random things done before Lich King, which *sqee* IS COMING VERY SOON!!!!!

Maybe it's time for my blog to have a Lich King Countdown hmmmmmm, *goes looking for java scripts*

I am writing this in response to the note on my computer with the frayed power cords, destroyed mouse, and sadly my special WoW keyboard that you mangled and took the keys off of, saying that I was addicted to World of Warcraft...

I think back to the few times you have gotten upset and I can see why, sure, your workplace was having that awards ceremony and you were so happy to become "Employee of The Month" but my guild was raiding Karazhan, and I have been waiting for the Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix since I saw the horde blood elf with it in Shattrath. You didn't really need me there, right?

Oh, and that time you planned that romantic date for our one year anniversary.. I was so desperately trying to level my herbalism skill before the expansion pack and I was so close to 375, how was I to know you were going to propose? How do you expect me to afford a dress when the Expansion pack is coming out and I HAVE to have the Collectors Edition?!

Sweetheart, you mean so much to me, but I have a loyalty to my guild. When the lower members get ganked, it is my job to go take care of the horde that try to destroy our Moral and good name of Alliance! It is my duty to uphold the Noble name of Lalar of the Night Elves, and be true to my sisters of the Alliance. And, Elune be Damned if I cannot do so.

You have never been supportive of my "WoW-life" (is there really another?) and I have decided that even though you said "If I pull my head out of my computer, we can work on it" but I must say no. You do not appreciate the fact that I am a level 70 Beast Master Hunter, who can frost trap an Elite Mob with ease and DPS another down to nothing while my Loyal pet Leolala mangles their face. Besides, sweetheart, there is a wonderful Affliction warlock in my guild (*edit* who is stunningly handsome and a gift to women) who knows that /tickle makes me smile and will raid with me til' the end of Northrend and back to Kalimdor.

So goodbye hon, for there is always greener pastures or in this case, snowier lands in Northrend.

Bored weekends, SSC, guild drama, and NEW PURPLES?!?!

Sooooo this weekend was, erm.. odd...

No Seren until Sunday so I spent most of my time farming the oozling pet (no luck btw...) until guildies decided they wanted to run ZA..


Awesome, we all got together and we went, with some PUGS included..

Could not get the gong to open the door... tried and tried... darn...

So, PUGs suggest SSC and incoming 20 random non distortion folks... *sigh*

We down 2 bosses... don't remember names, don't remember drops, it went by too fast and there was too much madness... (and lag)

After wiping and loosing people left and right we decide to stop the SSC run and go on about our WoW lives.

Distortion picked up 2 guildies in the process, one hunter and one pally.. one is causing Distortion so much drama it isn't funny... very very sad....

So, that wasn't a bright spot in the weekend...

Now... what was however, were the new scourge attacks.. No one in guild seemed interested and I was bored so I started hanging around these attacks and watching them. I learned a lot about them actually.. So, I went to bed will full intent on getting up and trying to join one of these attacks...

Heres the basic gist of the attacks:

On your map if you zoom out you may or may not see blue (or purple) skulls on the map. If you see them, it means that there is a scourge attack in process at that location.

Fly to area, find the Necro(summin) stome..

Kill mobs around the stone until the stone looses health, then 4 men will show up to start healing the stone, have the guys summon the Shadow of Doom with the runes (you get from killing the mobs) and kill the Shadow of Doom, keep in mind however you need a group to kill these shadow guys..

Also added bonus, 2 rare elites spawn in the middle of this madness and they drop purples...

So, Deb, Seren (yay), myself, Rohall, Lyriq, and Zop, are all running around trying to find the stones.. and actually we did AWESOME!

We would get there and our warriors would start tagging all the mobs and we would follow with AOE's and major attacks and just clear a massive group of them, looting as we went. Grabbing the Rare elites, killing them, then summoning the guys and AOEing to make sure no one tagged them and picking up our awesome purples..

And then, turning in our runes for awesome gear as well.. I am happy to report Lalar has the full set, Blessed Garb of the Undead Slaying.

I think we are going to continue raiding these Scourge attacks so other guildies can get the gear, heck their fun, as Deb said, it's the best of PVP & PVE with a little Amazing Race involved lol.

~Also I may start setting up the Distortion website soon, they pitched the idea to our guildmaster last night and I am awaiting the go ahead, but I may set one up just so they can look at and see if that is something they want.

30 minutes...

And it feels like forever!

I am about to get off work, go home, get my kiddo comfortable, change into pjs, make coffee, grab me some snacks and go look for Timmy... In between that time I am going to to random BG's to get my silly BG achievements. Timmy has a 3 hour spawn time, so I figure go sit for a bit at his spawn zone, wait a good 30 minutes, run to bgs, do one, run back to spawn zone, I may eventually find the lil boy with the white kitten I SO badly want...

I also need to go to Netherstorm or Tenaris for the Neutral AH and see if the Black Tabby kitty is for sale... then I may have to sell my soul for it, I am low on gold LMAO.. too much money on Vanity Pets makes Lalar broke..... *sigh* farming Netherdrake gold and dailies is what I see in my future....

Seren left for his trip earlier today so I won't see him until Sunday night most likely, hope he has a blast :) I plan on getting boring stuff out of the way while he's gone, and next weekend *evil snicker* I may or may not be on as much because he will be with me.... (yay!)

So, it looks like I will be doing complete randomness... farming pets, farming gold, stalking random NPCs, doing random BGs, and when my guild decides to do HH I will go because I still need the helm for my achievement.


PS: Flutter hit level 70 last night in Slave Pens! YAY!!!

Slave Pens, QQing, and ZOMG FINALLY!

First off, let me say I have the best friends in WoW ever.. last night was tough on me and just wow, they wouldn't let me give up or sulk for that matter..

Ok, I am a good hunter, my pet and I can work together as an awesome team, but I haven't had much raid experience...

Needless to say, Traps are not my specialty, actually because I have broken many of my own traps when I see the Blue Square pop up over a raid mob, I tend to groan and get nervous...

So we (Deb, Seren and I) were bored yesterday, I was killing lightning bugs in Zangermarsh trying to get the Firefly Vanity pet (rare drop, see previous blog entry), Deb was catching fish and making raid food, and Seren, well I have no idea really what he was doing lol. We all decided to get a Heroic together and decided that Slave Pens would be the best option, (everyone had the key lol)

So, we grab out guildie healer Rozalie and our guildie tank, Rohall and off we go..

First mob... busted my own trap...

Went on..

Further into the raid, not only did I bust another trap (retrapped though thankfully) my pet did not jump down into water with me and pulled mobs with him thus wiping the raid group... (/facepalm) but then, I PULLED PATS... seriously... (/beat head on desk HARD) I begged for my group to substitute someone else for dps cause I was just wiping the raid over and over, and in my whispers I got "your doing fine, please don't leave, we need you, etc etc" *sigh* I love my friends... So we continued on, myself still sulking, but actually did pretty decent through the rest of the raid.. we downed the boss, got our badges and completed the Heroic and Regular Slave Pens Achievement. I was still down so I said good night and was going to go lay down and sulk for a bit... but nooooooooooo my sweetheart wouldn't let me do that.. 2 seconds after I hit that X my phone rang and it was Seren who was relentless on not letting me be upset.. *sigh*

Sure I take it out on myself pretty hard when I mess up, and sure it's just a game, but my friends and guildies depend on me to get it right. It costs money to repair equipment and they work hard for that gold.

Anyways so yeah, my QQing is over lol...


Ohhh and for good news, I have been trick or treating, raiding HH, and doing all the Hallow's Even quest for the pet, and WOOT, I got it this morning! I just happened to log in with the thought that I would go ahead and get my Hallow's quest done and my first trick or treat, there it was all shiny and cute in a treat bag. YAY!!

Oh and I also jumped into a BG to get my GNERD achievement done (kill 50 while the GNERD buff is on you) and not only did I get the GNERD achievement, we won that Alterac Valley and I got two separate BG Kill Achievements. So I was racking them in.

Maybe with this luck I am having today I can get the Helm, and one of my rare drop pets... *crosses fingers*

No Seren this weekend, he's off for a weekend of fun with the guys, so I am going to work on Pets and maybe the silly BG achievements.

Kara cleared, Flowers, and Zombies?

Sooo yay, Distortion cleared Kara quickly last night, giving me both my achievent for Kara and my first clear and downing of all bosses! It was sooo awesome.

All pretty good improvements to what I had so yay!

Heck even Seren walked away with something..

Now, I now have a new nickname, "Flowers", everyone who was on the Kara run got a good laugh from me and have properly nicknamed me because of what happened...

If you have your professioned maxed some of them give you special little buffs or skills, such as Maxed Herbalism gives you Lifeblood and this nifty little spell scatters flowers around you...

Seriously, I thought I was going INSANE!

Sitting here killing trash mobs in Kara and suddenly flowers are sprouting at my feet... now keep in mind I have only run Kara 4-5 times thus far and I don't remember all of it, but I surely don't remember flowers sprouting randomly...

So I whisper Deb, her being my female counterpart in a guild full of guys and afraid Seren would think I was loosing it and send me to bed lol...

Me: Erm do you see random flowers?
Deb: Huh?
Me: Ok I'm loosing it, I swear there were flowers on the ground a second ago..
Deb: ok...?

So we continue fighting and move on through Kara and boom there they are again, pretty little flowers scattered on the ground..

To my raid group-
Me: Uhm, does anyone else see random flowers?
Everyone else in vent: Huh? You crazy! (random Lala you crazy comments)
Me: ok... n/m

give it about 5 minutes later..

OMG LOOK FLOWERS!!!

Everyone see's them and finally someone explains to my noob self that it is someones herbalism skill.. I look and wow... it's me... LOL

Now everyone knows how excited I can get, and how much things amuse me when they are new to me. (I still squeal when we go to a new area)

So everytime those flowers sprouted I would giggle and get excited.. in vent... my poor guildies...

Hince the reason I am now lovingly nicknamed, Flower...

I am sooo making a macro for whenever I see the flowers, ~*@Flowers, flowers everywhere! Weee!@*~... they are so going to hate me LOL...

Ohhh and Blizz pulled a fast one on the unsuspecting Lala... before the Kara run I had to get my kiddo changed and settled with my mom so I could concentrate on the run, and left my self in Darnassis... yeah, just thought I was safe...

BUT NOT FROM BRAINEATING BLOODSUCKING DISEASE INFECTING ZOMBIES!!! *cue scary music*

Yeah I came back from afk and noticed I was half dead and the guards were attacking me... I was like OMG WTF?!?!?!

Come to find out it's the Lich Kings spawns or something (Seren can explain it better lol he loves it) and people can infect you with this disease and it turns you into an undead.... and you can go around infecting other people and NPCs LOL.

Well, if you are infected, the guards will kill you... which is what happened to me..

So, a confused, gross looking Lalar, was running around getting killed by her own Night Elf guards *sobs* so yeah I got a bit testy.... until Seren calmly explained it to me, (my hero as always *sighs happily*) and now I can't wait to log in tonight and go infect people! muhahahahaha

So tonight should prove to be fun, zombies, headless horsemen, and fun, as always!

Hallows Eve, Vanity Pets, and new guild :)

Well, Hallows Eve on WoW has begun. This is my first time to experience the Halloween Content and I have to say it's pretty awesome.

What's also awesome is the Vanity Pets achievement, I have 35 thus far and the Achievement for the adorable skunk is 50... now to find 15 more pets... *sigh* Seren, Deb, Zop and I went into Upper BlackRock Spire and got the Spider and the Worg puppy pet, which was a lot of fun as always.

Now about Distortion, well, they rawk! LOL, there are some crazy people in there but you get that with every guild. We have a Kara run tomorrow and I cannot wait to see how we all work together.

I love my new guildies and have become the Lala in the guild hehe..

Deb, Zop and everyone else are just awesome, and of course, "my" Seren is there with me ;)

We've been running around doing odd and end achievments and getting our Hallow's Eve stuff done, we're both excited for the Kara run!

Anyways, back to work.

Well Hello TFC!

Yup, so we did it. Seren and I transfered to "The Forgotten Coast" this morning as planned, and before I had even left for work, I was already there. (quick transfer *gasp*)

To save drama I /gquit Not The Face last night, with a quick goodbye and hug to everyone, lord knows what they said after I /gquit, but they were nice beforehand lol.

I said my final goodbye to Chuck, thanking him for everything he taught me and keeping me company, etc, etc..

Talalar will still be there but I am sure I will be busy with Lala raiding and leveling Kylana I won't really have time to pop back. And actually I may move her later because she is my alch. Don't know yet though, for now Lala and Kylana are my main concerns.

Last night was fun though, Seren and I decided to do the Achievement where you defeat all old instances/dungeons.. so we hit Stratholm last night... which was halarious...

Well until my bow broke.. (I badly need my Titan bar back) then it was Mele hunter FTW!! LMAO...

I think we are going to go and play in Blackrock Spire soon, Seren and I both want the Worg puppy and the Spider pet you can get in there.

**Note, do not expect to see me online much tomorrow, I have a special friend coming to see me tomorrow and I may be busy *evilgrin*

Oh and of course, we got the new Talent Tree... Lalar is officially confused on her spec points... so I went deep into the BM tree so I could have the exotic pets... YAY!

PookieLala is the Lvl 12 White Corehound from Azuremist Isle, of course I had to go with white because I already have 2 white pets, Leolala and Raashy... and I was going to get a white moth until I got my hair done lol... If you look in the pics, you will see that Lalar is sporting blue hair in a headband, super cute lol.

So of course, the blue moth from Netherstorm went great lol.. all about the looks baby ;)

Just running around doing achievements has been fun, WoW has made some pretty awesome ones and I can't wait to get a lot done, I think I have 75 outta 750 already. Of course running around Stormwind will lead you to the harbor which is AWESOME.. Blizzard outdid themselves this time, that Habor is gorgeous.

Seren and I stood there in awe for a good 5 minutes when we walked up lol.

Now on a personal annoying note, here is my rant for the day:

Running around any major city you hear:
-What's a glyph?
-OMG When did Stormwind get a Harbor?
-Why can't we go to Northrend yet?
-Someone help me tame a corehound..
-What's an exotic pet?

K, now my answers to everyone... READ YOUR PATCH NOTES!!!!!!! *sighs*

Seriously I heard 70's asking these questions, I guess I am used to my friends being up to date on stuff and reading the forums. We all sat around anxiously reading Wowhead's Lich King reports, and reading the forums when the Beta Testers checked in, I personally read like 3 blogs of different hunters who were in Beta Testing just so I could find out everything I could... so yeah it annoys me when these noobs (yeah I said the n word) run around asking stupid questions when A) they can read the patch notes like I did (and yeah I read every word), B) go to the forums and read or C) fall of the face of Azeroth.. (better option)

Hopefully The Forgotten Coast isn't this bad.... I can't wait to transfer, I think we may do it tomorrow, which will be awesome.

Anyways there is my Patch rants and raves lol.

If Seren feels froggy, we may make this a team effort so he can post some random Warlock stuff and his opinions lol. We'll see..

Transfering, Alts, and Goals

It's been decided, Lalar will be transfering to "The Forgotten Coast" server sometime soon..

Sereniara and I have been busy tying up loose ends here on this server and have actually gotten A LOT done.

~Both Seren and Lalar have Netherdrakes. Reins of the Onyz Netherwing Drake ftw!
*Yeah we have matching Drakes, so sue us :P
~Lalar now has maxed herbalism, thanks to Seren keeping me working on it lol.
*Lalar has 2 bank bags full of herbs for future inscription needs.
~Seren is now revered with Sporeggar, which means Sporeling Snacks for Leolala and future pets and for Seren and Lalar to have the Mycah's Botanical Bag for our banks.
~Lalar now has a bank bag full of Primals and Essences.. woot!

I think we are basically set on our mains for the transfer and have actually run out of things to do so we decided to create our official alts on "The Forgotten Coast", Enter gnomes Kylana and Magenospyro (spelling? will check later lol), I am currently a Level 10 Gnome Lock and Daniel is currently a Lvl 10 gnome mage. Our specs, who knows LOL, our professions, yeah we'll get right back with you on that.. lol.
We are having a blast running around this new server noobing it out and are actually doing pretty awesome together on leveling. This is going to be fun and new...

I was actually beginning to feel bad about leaving Blood Furnace and Not The Face.. but after the past couple days, I know it's the right thing... ever since I started telling my friends, only one person has asked me to stay.. and no one has said they needed me, except Seren... I guess it turned personal, because I feel like I have already left, no one talks to me in guild or Seren for that matter, people are making snide comments, and just basically its becoming a big dramafest again. I have nearly /gquit twice...(I see Talalar being kicked out as soon as they find out my transfer is final... why? Because everyone is being rude as hell to me) I already turned the guild website (That "I" created thank you very much, I should have just been mean as hell and shut it down..) over to another guildie so she can work on it, even though I see it falling apart because no one knows HTML like me and no one will keep up with the website... *sigh*

Maybe my new guild will need a webmaster :) I sure do hope so! *ideas of future Guild Banners float in mind*

I have also decided to update my blog, I am going to keep the layout but I need to update my info and my Character Signature and add Kylana, plus I need to remove someone and add my Seren..

I was also surfing around and found the cutest WoW Icons and I think I am going to add a sidebar for them, something kinda cute :) and everyone knows how much I love kyootness!

Geez.. what is it with stress in WoW...

I play WoW to relax and have fun while the rest of my life stays stressful, not the other way around. Between personal drama with someone, and the severe lack of something to do other than farm and raise my herbalism and work on various Reps, oh and lets not mention the 4-1 (horde to alliance) ratio in Blood Furnace which leaves me ganked and dead most of the time.. I am just getting frustrated..

-On that note: Hordies are planning an all out gankfest on the day the xpac opens.. from the looks of the Blood Furnace Server forum posts on the official website we'll be looking at groups of 10+ hordes in raids ready to make alliances miserable... and this is coming directly from hordies planning this.. *sigh*

I was seriously considering quiting WoW for a while.. let the xpac come and let people get used to it and the come back... but someone talked me out of it..

Then, this someone mentioned an option I had heard of, but have never considered...

"Why don't you just transfer Lalar?"

As if its that simple... "just transfer Lalar".... really... I could?

The words have been echoing in my mind for days now...

I posted a forum with Horde VS Alliance stats, the info from the WoW forums about the ganking plans, and tried to see what everyone had to say about this, but all I got was.. "its going to be fun, we'll all go together" or "yeah its going to be bad but what can we do"... I hate that.. I love NTF, I really do.. but damn..

We've done Kara twice, first time made it to the Shade of Aran the next time made it to the curator and turned around to Nightbane... thats it..

Last night, Daniel found me a group to run with and him and I made it with them to the Prince... didn't live through it or down him, but by god we made it...

*There was 4 hunters in the group however, all from the guild we were running with, I doubt if I would have gotten anything good for Lalar anyways*

But I digress...

Anyways, the person that suggested I transfer is also transfering, and says he's got friends over there already that came from Blood Furnace who are more than willing to welcome us in..

~My fears though are..~

*I am a full Merc Hunter.. I have gotten the Sonic Spear drop and the Gorona's Signet Ring drop.. period... So what I am scared is that the guild won't even look at a hunter that hasn't had much experience raiding..
*I can't trap worth a crap, but I want to work on it..
*Arenas I'm decent at... BG's I'm good at... all out ganking/solo player vs solo me, yeah I suck at it...

So, basically I am scared that a guild wouldn't even want me.. so I looked up said guild and they only have 1 lvl 70 hunter, and basically the same, full merc and a few Kara drops.. so I feel better..

The Server is "The Forgotten Coast" and its a 1 to 1 ration horde to alliance.. which is much better than 4 to 1.. I have read the forums, I see no major complaints about economy or unfair ganking which is all you see in the Blood Furnace server Forum..

Anyways I can always solve my problems with a Pro VS Cons list so here goes..

Pros Of Transfering:
~Active Guild of Raiding
~Will be less hassle to see new content with lower horde ratio
~Daniel..
~Guild is ready to open arms to me (and may need a webmaster *snicker*)
~No major economical problems or major ganking issues seen thus far..
~No worries about seeing content, new guild raids frequently

Cons of Transfering:
~Leaving my NTF family :(
~Leaving Chuck..
~would have to pass webmastering onto someone who might be able to keep the NTF website up..
~ $25 dollars to transfer, which Daniel said he would help..

*sigh*

I dunno...

If I can't move Talalar, that's fine.. I can just move all the extra herbs and stuff to Lalar's bank and delete Talalar and make a new druid later.. same with the rest of my alts unless I keep them in NTF so I can keep in touch with everyone.

Dang, why does this have to be so hard.. moving looks like the best option for Lalar granted I am nervous about it, I won't know anyone but Daniel but I am pretty outgoing so I am sure fitting in won't be an issue..

I am going to post a topic on the NTF website.. kinda giving a heads up and see what everyone says.. I kinda wish I could bring people with me, but.. I doubt it, plus it costs money to do so...

*sigh*
