I was listening to Epic Dolls podcast about the "famed" Death Knight, and I have to say, as a hunter, I don't really see the big deal.
True, you hit lvl 55 and you can roll one.
True, Death Knights only start questing in one area.
True, New class, aka: New shinies, I'm sure everyone thought this about the Draenei or Blood Elves...
From what I have heard is they when they leave their opening land, they are equiped with nice shiny blues made just for the class...

Why can't hunters, droods, warlocks, etc have the same thing?
Why can't Blizz make "Hero Hunters?"
So we have the Death Knight, a "Hero Class"...
No Champion Hunters?
Maybe when I see someone play one or maybe fiddle with it myself I'll change my mind, but at the moment, full speed ahead to Lalar for Lich King...
Maybe I am just misinformed... dunno... but w/e :P
